I think about this skit quite often for two reasons.
1. It may be the worst Saturday Night Live skit ever.
- When this originally aired a group of 14 of us sat and watched it. First everyone was silent, after a few moments there were a few "what the's?". When it ended everyone agreed- WORST skit ever.
2. OR It may be the best Saturday Night Live ever.
- In the subsequent hours, days, weeks, and months several of us use the skit in appropriate situations. ie Everyone is quiet "GILLY"..... "sorry", and then the dance.
Best? or Worst?
