As always, I am so very happy that Friday has finally rolled around!
Let me explain. You know that scene from Cinderella? The one where she wakes up and is singing "a dream is a wish..." and the birds are twirling around her head, the mice are scurrying about, and eventually the animals collaberate to get her bathed and dressed? You know it. Well, that is how I feel on Friday mornings, sans the birds and mice.

Just thought I owed you that explination.

This Friday feels especially earned since the last seven days I have been completely and totally inidated with school, and have been writing, researching, writing, and researching some more. This looming cloud of papers, final exams and the smooth buzz & bright light of my computer had me seriously considering moving to the pacific northwest, and becoming a hermit in order to escape all the maddness that was my school life.

Instead I took refuge in good thoughts, good deeds, and the bright future that is this weekend.

In other news... I am totally obsessed with this song that is in the 500 days of summer trailer. Which I will be watching with lots of the girls this weekend

(I am pretty sure the stars will align and everyone will make it.)

Nick James F.

One of the many reasons I love my brother so much......
Becca: Who are you inviting tomorrow night? (it is his 22nd b-day)

Nick: I think I am going to invite Devil Cat!

He is just as odd as I am.
Our parents must be to blame :)

PROCRASTINATION

Because Finals Week is Sucking the Life Out Of Me!
At Least Burton Got a Bath!- Much to his Dismay.

He still argues that baths are synonymous with water boarding.

Too Cool

I was browsing through old pictures and came across this winner.
It is my old dog Libby! You wouldn't know by looking at her, but Libby was actually a demon sent up from the depths of Hell to teach me many lessons.
Such as that of a puppy poo storm, and how much stuffing is actually in a couch cushion.
All that aside I loved her, and sort of miss her.

"whips"

Last night Danny and I had an interesting discussion about driving. You see, I think driving is one of the worst ways to pass time, unfortunately transportation is necessary (hence the reason I desperately covet a teleporter). Danny on the other hand actually enjoys a leisurely drive. He explained this to me quite eloquently:
"Becca, the reason do not like to drive is because you drive a Corolla. I drive Dodge Stratus."
Yes a Dodge Stratus.

When I enquired further about this, Danny simply replied that the dodge stratus was superior for a few reasons:
1. The Stratus is a chick magnet
2. It is really fast, which is good in case somebody wants to race
3. It is a good family car

Here's the man in action

Do you know who else loves his dodge stratus?

Rex Manning Day

Last night I attempted to watch a pirated version of the Hangover. Yes, I know that is illegal. Yes, I feel dirty inside. Yes, I know that there is a little corner in Purgatory reserved for Pirates. Ar Har! Luckily, I do not believe in Purgatory, and I didn't end up watching the movie.

Rather, I reminisced about comedies of my past.

Son In Law- how I love thee, 16 Candles still makes me gitty, and lest not forget Empire Records.

Ethan Embry- in spite of all the years that have passed us by, my heart still palpitates for you!
