Guns N' Bars

This morning the Governor of Arizona signed a bill permitting guns in restaurants and bars.
Brilliant! What a perfect union- Liquor and Weapons.
Don't get me wrong I don't mind guns, I've grown up with them and have shot my fair share. I fully believe that responsible crime free citizens have the right to own guns.
But this....not so much.

On another note, it was agreed that sparklers are still dangerous and will remain illegal in Arizona. Good call! we wouldn't want anyone getting drunk and recklessly waiving their sparklers about!

Sorry about the soap box, but I just can't wrap my head around this. Can you?

Dinner

This Evening: I'm having Chicken Stir Fry for Dinner.
Tonight: I am going to Roosters for a birthday celebration.
Right Now: I am sitting at my computer giggling at this.

I've started running again.

It sucks.

My lungs keep exploding, and my face insists on turning a bright shade of crimson. This color lasts for several hours. Oh and the sweat is offensive, at least it offends me.

On a different note- It feels really good.
Much like this scale would feel good in contrast to the rude and discouraging scale that lives in my bathroom.
My friend Ashley who is a legitimate runner, unlike myself, has a site on Photography while Running http://shweeey.wordpress.com/. I wish I had that kind of coordination... maybe I should start a blog "Photography While Tripping". Nah.

Travel Companion

This afternoon I was driving down the street, listening to NPR, mindin my own business when this guy (who I kid you not, was as big as the palm of my hand) decided to take a leisurely walk up my windshield.

Holy 7 car pileup! I seriously almost had a stroke.
He must have been an adrenaline junky, because this humungo dude held on for at least 3 miles and 75 miles per hour... I think he parachuted off!

When it comes to driving, failure to use the turn signal is now my second biggest pet peeve!

TGIF

I am really looking forward to this weekend!

I want to continue celebrating the big fat A+ I was awarded in my first class. Danny and I started celebrating last night with oregano's and Odells IPA.
(and I wonder why I have a little extra lovin' on me)

I also need to take a breather from burning trash bins, leaky roofs, financial reports, damaged demising walls and cracked foundations. Oh and Human feces... but I'll save that story for another day.

Since I REALLY needed this weekend I decided to prolong it and took an extra day off.

Guess how I am going to spend my three day weekend?
No. But a girl can dream.
I will actually be doing this:

Yup, MOVING.

That's right I'm heading back to Mesa Town! Wish me luck since I enjoy moving almost as much as I love my annual visit to the woman doctor.

There is more. Not only am I moving back to Mesa, but I am also moving back in with my parents...

This feels weird to me, and slightly inside out and upside down. At first I was a little embarrassed and thought It would be a good idea to hide it from the world, but instead I'm going to keep my pride in check (see Proverbs 16: 18-19) and embrace this change.

I made this decision because despite being 26, gainfully employed, and independent moving home just makes financial sense. I will be able to save heaps of money this way.

I actually plan on making large heaping piles of all the money I save and jumping into it like a five year old in leaves. Or Maybe I'll put it in CDs or a Money Market? What a predicament. Regardless of how it is stored it will go toward my semester of student teaching, and eventually a sweet little house.

Whoa it feels good to get that off my chest!

Since I will be moving my two bedroom townhouse into one tiny room with a even tinnier closet I am going to focus on organization.

Here is the motivation for my tiny space overhaul.

My Closet can be organized. It can. Simplify Simplify Simplify

This is my new Anthem

A Day in the Life

Of a Property Manager

This charred trashcan almost looks like art. Almost.

Oh how I adore my ultra Glamorous Job!
